Ivanovs Depeche Mode at NordArt

In cooperation with Kunstwerk Carlshütte, a German non-profit organisation, three Ivanovs Depeche Mode striped portraits from 2001 will be exhibited at a large scale exhibit. The Kunstwerk Carlshütte is a cultural initiative of the internationally active ACO Group and the towns of Büdelsdorf and Rendsburg. With its historical buildings, the colossal foundry halls and the extensive sculpture park, the Kunstwerk Carlshütte has developed over the years into a very special place for exhibitions, concerts, readings, theatre performances and film screenings.

Taking place in the summer months since 1999, the NordArt is one of the largest exhibitions of contemporary art in Europe, with about 250 selected artists from around the world. Artist and curator Wolfgang Gramm redesigns it annually as an all-encompassing work of art. Corresponding to the Chinese Pavilion in 2012, this year’s special focus is on the Baltic States. The Baltic Pavilion features contemporary works of art by 35 artists from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
